Crèche

At the Women’s Centre Crèche it is our intention to make our childcare provision accessible to all sections of the local community. We want children and families to enjoy using our service and to enjoy their experience with us. We want parents to feel confident in the ability of the staff in our crèche to look after and encourage their children. We ensure that all staff are fully trained and experienced in settling in children. We also ensure that staff undertakes additional training opportunities to expand their skills and knowledge on a regular basis. We ensure that feedback is provided to parents on their child’s progress, including the individual care that has been given to each child during the session. The Women’s Centre Crèche is committed to offering access to all parents and children regardless of gender, marital status, family status, age, disability, race, sexual orientation and religious belief.

The Centre caters for children aged 8 weeks – 5th birthday. We are registered with the W.H.&S.C.T for a maximum of 20 children in any given session. With regards to child adult ratio we follow the following guidelines:

0-2 years – 1 crèche staff for 3 children.

2-3 years – 1 crèche staff for 4 children.

3 plus – 1 crèche staff for 5 children.
