Invitation To Tender Part-Time Tutor/Facilitator Register 2015-2018
Women’s Centre Derry is seeking to recruit tutors for the 2015 – 2018 period to deliver courses in the following areas;
- English for Work
- Maths for Work
- Progression to Employment
- ICT Skills for Work
- Online Computer Basics
- Booking-Keeping & Accounts
- Business Administration Skills
- Adult Social Care
- Introduction to Working in Childcare
- Substance Misuse
- Fashion / Garment Making
- Nail Art & Make up
- Hair Styling Skills
- Upcycling Crafts
Tutors must hold a minimum of a level 2 (equivalent to GCSE grades A*-C) in Literacy and Numeracy and a minimum of level 3 (equivalent to AS and A level) qualification in their specialist subject area. Tutors must hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to undertake the Certificate in Teaching provided by the University of Ulster.
Tutor/teaching experience is essential to deliver training in an organisation committed to promoting women’s equality by improving access to education, employment, social & economic life.
