Christmas Toy Appeal

Christmas for many families in Derry can be a difficult time. We are aiming to ensure that no child wakes up on Christmas Day to nothing and need your help in gathering presents.

Catherine Barr, Centre Director, said “We hear the everyday struggles within our community, families that can’t afford to heat their homes and struggling to put food on their tables. As a Women centre we want to help lighten a family’s burden and help distribute gifts so that every child has something to unwrap on Christmas day”.

Women Centre Derry are collecting new toys for families who need them this year between Wednesday 7th December and Monday 19th December. Those wanting to donate new, unwrapped toys can pop into our Women’s Centre and hand in their donations between 9:30am and 4:30pm.
