International Womens Day | Event

International Women’s Day is a day of celebration and this year we made it even bigger and took it to the Millennium Forum. Over 20 organisations throughout the city came together to showcase the free services they offer to women ranging from physical and mental health, parenting support and education opportunities.

We had support from local politicians in the city who were in attendance along with the Mayor Sandra Duffy. We celebrated the women who achieved qualifications at the centre with a certificate presentation and our own Multi-Cultural group made a beautiful art piece which was displayed titled ‘Home’. The event was a major success and we look forward to continuing this for years to come.
